The CALS Greenhouses operate under the CALS Centralized Greenhouse Management System. The Walnut Street Greenhouse consists of a greenhouse facility complete with three growth chambers and two walk-in coolers, along with additional outdoor coldframe space.

People who wish to use greenhouse space must do the following:

1. Contact the manager and request space. Do this well in advance of your project’s anticipated start date.
2. Contact any staff person to schedule a WPS and orientation session. Attend the session and sign the paperwork stating you have been given this training.
3. Read the Policies and Procedures. A hard copy of these policies will also be available at the orientation session.
